When I spot a piece of knife river flint around here, no matter how small, i pick it up, and it is usually worked. This is a nice example.
I am a few hundred miles from the source, and things like this tell me how prized and well utilized it was. I have found thumbscrapers half this size too.

Nice one. I do the same thing with Carter Cave Flint on a Woodland site I hunt. If it's Carter you better pick it up because 80% of them are worked.
