Really Nice point! Is it a triangle or was it a notched point?

Awesome find!!! That is a beauty!!!!....................Congrats!!!.....................GTP(Chris)

Really nice find for him! Tx material? Looks kinda like it and I am stupid but what is KRF? Tell him I said it is very nice.

yup old digger, it is a triangle
i can't figure out what it was for since it is much too big to be used for an arrow point

thank you gator
knife river flint quarry is at dunn center in NW north dakota
KRF was ND's first export trade commodity
it is very nice to work with and can hold an extremely sharp edge for an awful long time
i have a friend that found a real nice big KRF blade and he uses it to cut tomatoes

Geez! When I find something nice I drive home extra cautious. Don't think I could put a piece like that back to work.

me neither,
that was 5 yrs ago when he did that and it is still sharp

Awesome find.:icon_thumleft:
