My son had the day off so we went out to a few spots. I think I found an Elk or deer tooth. My son found a very ground base. Was there a particular time period they ground the bases? I don’t know if the small triangular chip is a point but it is sharp and seems worked! Nothing jaw dropping but I don’t hunt much and I enjoy posting our finds! Great finds and special moments. Thanks for sharing!

In your second set of pictures could you show more of the carmel colored point on the right. From what I see that could be part of a Folsom Point. If it is you are surely two lucky hunters. I hunted for years before finding a partial, rear quarter. Almost lived at that site for weeks trying to find the front half, no luck, found a few other points of later eras.

Thanks Highstrung and joshuaream, talking with my son about the life back then is worth more than gold! Thanks gilmerman, Folsom’s have been found around the area. I was thinking it might be, but it’s too thick. Maybe it was a knife? Or a paleo piece? It is not quite fluted. I have had that same Folsom fever after finding a broken piece. I keep going back but it’s been 18 years and still nothing. I won’t ever give up looking for one of those:)1AC6C02B-1A4D-4A7D-B559-946377549708.jpeg

Yes you are probably right looking nat the whole partial it only has a couple of flaked edges that look Folsom. Still sent a shiver through me. Good luck.
