So today I went magnet fishing at a place I almost always magnet fish on cause it is extremely productive in the middle of my city. But this time the water was very low so I climbed down a ladder and I could stand on some rocks without getting wet where there used to be about 30 cm high water. So when I had that opportunity I collected some glass and a lot of nails that where dumped from a fire in this city in 1869:

They were laid on a wooden plank and the most of the nails was under the dirt. The funny thing was that these nails laid so intact to each other that you could here the nails clicking on to the magnet so quickly.

Here's some other "crap" finds too:

One fishing lure, a broken stainless steel spoon, only four capsules and some other stuff.

Here's all the glass that I managed to pick up without getting wet together with a small Jägermeister bottle:

I found two big medieval house nails:

I also found a very interesting 1800's nail which was bent by a blacksmith (hand forged):

And the mystery find of the day was this big spearhead looking iron object:

It is 18,5cm in length, 3,5 cm in width and weighs 156 g.

Interesting assortment of finds Vldetecting. Kind of gets you angry that people throw that stuff in the water - my luck - I would walk right on it! Thanks for sharing...

Yes, I believe they dumped all those nails in 1869 from a fire we had in our city.
