This morning it wasn't to bad out side mid 40,s light wind but no Sun very lite drizzle so i hit a local beach not far away on the North side sound facing Conn.with my Sov GT i have not been there since Sandy hit us the beach is still a mess lots of sand pushed out , i found a bunch of coins lots of sinkers and of course pull tabs lol i was in to hunting about 1 hour and about to call it quits and i dug another target what looked and sounded like the pull tab again you never know , holy cow was i wrong just outside the wet sand line about 7 inches was this heavy 14K gold bracelet :hello2:so glad i decided to dig that target it weighs in at 22.4 Grams solid 14 K i took a few pics enjoy and Happy Holidays . Hi Claire Sandy did not do as much damage here on the Northfork as it did further West on the Island i found the bracelet on a small North Sound beach in Orient Point facing Conn . On the other hand the South shore beaches out here were destroy . Where on the Island are you from ? Jim
