I made a short video on my phone ..
It was a incredible sight to witness as I’m on the porch about 40 feet away

I went to look out the sliding glass door and just saw it’s huge body as it’s head was to the ground.behind the bushes.
It shook those bushes with such force
It’s one of moments in time that I will always remember going out on the porch so so close

Looked up and a similar looking buck was staring me down.
Head tilted a bit, trying to make sense of this strange thing that was in his domain.
He had 6 Does in his herd.
I took the Gray Ghost headphones off and gently spoke to him.
He turn, walked away.
I was still looking for a big tree to get behind just incase. 😆

Those special moments we will always remember.
It’s so true about speaking gently to them.
I often do that and I think they sometimes feel safe being here

Thanks again.Starting to see more deer these days and this was the largest and first time I saw it.
I was out on the porch a short distance away as it was ripping up the bushes and it didn’t care.
Then laying down afterwards on the grass.
A beautiful sight
