Had a few hours before dark and an itch to hunt. Met up with MichiganJay at a park that has been city owned since 24, but we werent sure how long it has actually been in use.We did sort of an overview hunt, hitting areas all around the park without doing any real concentrated hunting.Aside from a fist full of trash,I came out with a bit of clad, seven wheats, three silvers, and one rough Hubley cap gun.
Three silvers to seven wheats or three silver dimes to three clad dimes would be my "nice averages". The rosie (a 48) and one of the mercs are dates that I didnt have in my folder yet .....cool!
Jay didnt fare so well on the old coins but he did have a couple of cool finds he may or may not share with us....he also smoked me on the clad.
Ill get back to this park soon and start going over some areas thouroughly...there is alot of area and certainly some more good finds......H.H. and best of luck to all.....Joe

Was to rainy to MD today so I went in search of a "ghost town" in Garrett county ( western Maryland) I found the town now just waiting for better weather and my cold to pass so I can hunt it . Can't wait to get in there.
