OK last week i received my new Whites Classic 5 ID, the next day lost a relative and had to go to Michigan for the last week. I got back last night and put everything together and charged the battery pack up. I deiced that i still have a couple of days payed off so i was not going back to work any time soon. Anyways i own the company that i work for so o well.
I have been looking at a local park for quite some time and before leaving i found out that it was going to get redone and cleaned up. so i had to hit it soon. I went out today with little hopes being that my heart is still hanging low and still tired for the long drive. I got up and off i went after 5 or 6 cups of coffee. and a Thermos to go with me.
Started off slow normal clad
total $6.75 in quarters
$3.20 in dimes
$0.55 in nickels
$1.32 in penny's
nothing really special but I'm really liking this new machine and that way it hits the targets and weeds out the junk but then i still did pick up a lot of pull tabs.
Decide to head over to a a diffrent area of the park and see what i find and i hit a good ring tone that would not quit. so i dug for about 9 inches in loose soil and out pops that very heavy ring that i did a big happy dance for all to see but thank god know one was around. I cant dance I took the ring to a local jeweler to have her look at it while i looked at her. and i was right to dance 14 k gold with a 5 1/2 carrot saphire sitting on top . a true saphire like this is very rare from what she said. and frigging big. I kept going and found a 1944 merc in nice Sharp at about 5 inches and she gave off a solid signal also.
my other notables for the day are a 1976 bicentennial quarter, silver ring with aqua Marin stone, copper ring , a nother sterling ring, a penguin Anacin skiwalker, soccer metal, and well just look at the pics
