Ni-Cad Battery replacement!!!!

My EIISL 90 has 4 sub C's , one of which was bad back in the old days when things were tight. I used a meter to find the bad one then replaced it. Didn't look like much but it did work. The hard part is soldering (spelling) the batteries in. I used a battery out of another battery pack from a drill or something. An electronics store might have your type on the shelf.

why not just call Whites directly and ask :D I think the battery is around $50 ,but if you get from a dealer maybe they will cut you a deal.

Hollywood, a couple days ago i popped my DFX battery appart because it wasn't holding a charge very long. Corroded end told me it wouldn't last much longer. After talking to the BioMed guys at work, (the guys that work on patient saftey equipment) I called some place called Batteries Plus. They quoted me 20 bucks to replace my batteries with 1000 MaH AAs. I assume it probably has 750s from the factory. I stopped on the way home and they made them up while I waited. They weld the tabs on with a spot welder and solder the lead in. Since it was so cheap I had them build me a pack for my Eagle. 16 dollars. Including tax the total was 39. Full retail plus shipping from Sweet Home Oregan would have cost me close to 100.

Any major city will have a battery place like this.

Thanks Crutch,

Thats Exactly what kind of information I was looking for.. ;D
