theres an old swim hole behind mt washington hotel. Its located off of base station road. i remember going there to swim while in my teens. its been around for ever, might be worth looking into.

Thats pretty neat. Id be interested come spring. Did you relocate to NH or are you planning a vacation

i grew up in groveton, NH. but i moved when i was 18, headed out to college and when i did move back i lived in pembrooke, NH but only for a few years then moved to maine for 10 yrs then out here to ohio. but the swim hole i mentioned, if you google map mt washington hotel, follow base station road up adn around and theres a pin marker that says "cliff jump" that the spot. There are several pool that from 20 feet up you can see the bottom but the pools are probably 8-10 feet deep. the water is so clear its scary. its also cold as heck, probably end up with two belly buttons its so cold....we used to just go and swim in our jeans so i know there has to be stuff there. its been around for ever.
