Here's my latest batch of beach finds from the NH Shore. I was grumbling to myself while digging that big old gold ring about how sick I was of digging these infernal memorial cents when that gold ring flopped out onto the beach. I said HOLY MOTHER gimmie that and snatched it up. Then went right back to grumbling as it turned out to be gold plated junk. Now that's just NOT funny! lol

Here's why I like hunting the beach, talk about relaxing!

Re: NH Finds - Fairgrounds

I made a few finds at a local fairgrounds that dates to the 1800's. Those IH's are in great shape compared to some I will post in a minute.

At least you got a Vette and a Prowler out of the deal... Keep at it as there has to be some gold in that sand...

Too bad about the ring, it looks OK to me. Nice batch of clad, pretty Mercs and IH's.

Well I am sorry about the ring turning out to be a junker, but ya have to admit you got a way cool rush from it at first. The very same thing just happened to me a couple of days ago while I was hunting an extremely expensive ring a lady lost. My heart rate doubled but it turned out to be a big ol' ring from a dollar sotre or something...JUNK!

Maybe next time!

Best o' luck

I always enjoyed beach hunting, just don't get to do it often here in Indiana!!

Beach looks sweet about now. I should post a pic of our crappy beach. :D It's about 100ft to the water and full of sticks, twigs, rocks, etc. Well, I guess at least we got a beach.

Good deal on the Mercs and IH's. :)

Excellent diggs...

Wow, all four cars are the same color .....blue...

What are the chances of that?

Nice diggs Charles! Te beach looks real nice and clean. Beaches here aren't very pretty either. The ring looks real too.
Nice bit of pirate with the skull.....

Keep safe...

I've commented on this before, but I am amazed at the number of coins found with the date 1944. That was the year of my birth so of course I always notice it. Beautiful beach to hunt too. Monty

. . . the date 1944. That was the year of my birth . . .

Oooooo! I didn't realize that avatar image was really your picture. ;)

Nice beach finds. Someday I got to get me to a beach at the same time I have a detector with me. Tried in the early 70's with a Radio Shack kit built but I couldn't have found a washed up Russian submarine with that klunker.
