What would be the best course of action if a discovery was made while hiking in the area related to the legend? I found strong evidence to support that silver was possibly extracted and dropped or purposefully concealed along the way when attempting to leave the area.

I have confirmed that these are not magnetic, they both melt ice on contact, and they have a distinct “ring” when tapped together. I have not conducted any chemical testing.

I will be returning in the morning (4/18/25) to the place I recently made a discovery to conduct additional research and catalog any additional items I may find while there. Is there a particular historical society or geological society I should contact to discuss these findings?

Welcome DebyCityJp,

I don't know the area or the swift legend. But there will be someone here that can assist you. Good luck on your search tomorrow.
