...next door neighbor's yard!
Over the last few months, some of you may remember hearing me whine about living in a 200+ year old house and not being able to find anything.
Well, that is still true, due to my lack of experience as a MDer and lack of metal detecting firepower. I know the stuff is there, but I can't get to it! Still, I have sometimes wondered if someone combed this area prior to us moving here.
Anyway, my father was talking to our next door neighbor, and he mentioned that while ploughing his garden he found an 1856 flying eagle cent! I think it is more likely an 1858, but still..that is a heck of a coin! My belief that there are tons of old coins here waiting to be found is strengthened!!!!!
