Detector(s) used
Whites Prizm II
Hi, All
Just starting out MDing. With a whites phase II . I get so many differant signals and the more I dig I can't find any thing I have the pinpoint feature but it beeps at everything around where the orginal tone started,, getting aggragated to early. I did hit a park today and found a 1978 penny then a little later at a school I found a 1988 dime in the middle of the feild where I myself use to play ball 35 years ago. I geuss I have to be more patient and get out more.

Is that a phaze 2 or Prizm 2? Getting to know your machine is huge and sometimes a detector that lacks ground balance abilities can be effected in certain soils. But turn on and go machines for the most part can be pretty productive and like I said, getting to know the detector. Maybe set a few tests up in your yard to see how your detector responds to different items.

We have a Prizm 2 and like I say, sometimes the ground can be funny due to the lack of ground balance. However, we have found alot of different items with the detector and as you get to know it, it gets better. My girlfriend and son love the simplicity of it and it has been very dependable. Good luck.

I just got to get use to it. I'll be ok I live in the area where Camp Sherman was and hope to find some good relics.
