I have been interested in Petroglyphs all my life and have seen thousands of glyphs in and around Arizona where I was born and raised. But there is an area that has some very different glyphs that may be Spanish as they are near the Esclante Route of the Spanish Trail. I am looking for someone who might recognize this as a map, and help me decode it. GG

WELCOME NEW MEMBER . INTERESTING FIND ..

give it a few days your going to have alot of interest in this..do not give out where it is..

That does indeed look like something done by a European American, and not First Nations. Nothing quite like stumbling upon petroglyphs in the sage brush.

billn1956 Thanks for checking in.. I am hoping I get some feedback..

The only horse glyphs that I have seen that look anything like this one are in caves in France, dated back way back to pre-historic times. I've never seen anything like this one in Arizona, New Mexico, Colorado, or Utah.

Very cool glyph! I love puzzles, but this is something I unfortunately have no experience with. I echo Bill's sentiment. I hope the photo wasn't posted directly from a phone or it might have locational information embedded in it. You might also want to post this on the sub-forum specifically for treasure marks and signs:

Looking forward to see how this progresses!

Looks... Like a horse and tons of horse poop... Maybe the Horse poop gold trail!?!

The horizontal line in front of the horse looks like it depicts the ground and the 6 dots under it may indicate you need to dig 6 feet. The "E" to the far right of the horse may indicate you need to go East to find this place. The symbols above the horse look like upside down and backwards "5 symbols", maybe some sort of constellation pattern?

"You can Lead a horse to water but you can't make him drink". I think it's water under the horse. If there is a gully near there follow it down and look for more signs
