Is it just me or has there been a lot of new members lately? Don't get me wrong i take no offense, Just seems like i have seen a lot of newbies. Could it be that new diggers show i keep hearing about? If so, it scares me that TV might have exploited our somewhat unknown and elusive hobby, kind of like Storage Wars ruined things for auctions. Either way, I welcome all new comers to TNet, it is my wish that you all learn, enjoy, and of course find TREASURE GALORE!

It 's cool ....I joined at the begin of Jan ,but been detecting over 10 years . I agree ; thought there seemed like a lot of new folks to the hobby .For whatever reason; I think its metal prices & the shows make it look easy. BUT its got to be in your blood in my opinion when some people realize its not like finding a gold ring or silver coins ,heck even U.S. C.W.BUTTONS everytime you go out. I suspect the pawn shops will have some economy priced machines in the near future, or maybe not..Its kinda like all the new gun owners ; I just hope folks take that responsibilty to heart & train themselves too shoot and secure their firearms . SORRY THATS ANOTHER SUBJECT ALL TOGETHER..Davers p.s. your not too old school yourself to Tnet @ least,,'NO OFFENSE'
