Research your area, Churches, schools, swimming holes, fair grounds, rail roads... anything with age and high traffic. Good luck!
 

Welcome from Indiana. Don't give up on your local parks just yet. Get some 1800s maps of your town and see if those blocks were something interesting before they were parks. Never know what was there before. Dig the deep questionable signals, most city park hunters will ignore all but the easy ones...good luck.

Hey Newby. Just for fun, go to a little kids play ground. Swing under the swings and around all the monkey bars. I do it just for fun on occasion. Usually come up with three or four quarters, some dimes and needless to say a bunch of pennies. Good way to learn what your detector is telling you. Welcome to the net and go oout there an have a blast.
