newbie with an ace 250

I personally do not know the Ace 250, but I know the salt/sand conditions at the beach are tough.
I've heard about the 250 that you need to turn down the sensativity.
Do that and dig everything and I guarantee you will find something! :icon_pirat:

Welcome to the hobby and TNet.

#1 do not get the control housing wet ! Do not take the machine into the water ! If you so take the machine into the water, Do not lift the coil above waist level. Water will travel down the poll and into screw holes on the bottom of the control box. Also it's very hard to keep your balance in the surf so keeping the control box out of the water can be difficult. Stay safe and on dry land. That said, turn sensitivity down as far as you need to keep it from falsing (sounding off errattically). You should still be able to get about 6" or better.

Also the ACE 250 has a built in pinpointer, comes in handy. Hold down the button and scan the area you got the beep, when its loud and the bar is all the way across. Dig in that spot.

hi cold, don't know that machine but it is the pilot not the plane. learn what it tells you. dig a lot. have fun and don't look at too many bikinis. those clips are are good signals!
