Newbie to Cannonballs

Hi! I dabble in militaria and collecting a host of other things - Song Sheets form the 30s-50s, Lilliput Lane cottages, Middle Earth prop replicas and memorabilia, Books . . . I like collecting!

Just acquired my first cannonball (or cannonball-looking item) from a local junk shop, and I'm trying to ID! I was pointed to this site in my hunt for information, so I'm hear! Thanks for having me!
