Hi all, from Sacramento, California. ioski of many hobbies (one of which is now is metal detecting), master of none.
Not too long ago, I researched and bought a Discovery 3300... really wanted a Minelab Xterra 705, but $ is spread too thin amongst all those hobbies!
The 3300 has a fair amount of features. I've got the 8" coil and the 4" coil, but have only used the 8" coil thus far.
Anyhow, been out a few times with the 3300 and am happy with it so far.
I've used it so far for practical purposes: finding nails in a horse pasture, finding lost arrows, etc....
Looking forward to reading about other folks experiences, and getting into detecting other items.
