Could be a piece of slag, or a meteorite fragment. It appears to have iron in it.

Hello and Welcome to the forum! Looks like hematite to me, which is very common in the Bradshaw's. That is a good sign of gold nearby! Here is a video we took on the way out to Humbug, and beyond.
