Newbie in upstate NY

Hello all! Been doing research on Metal Detectors and found my way to this site. I have gathered a lot of info but no treasures yet! Waiting for my Ace 250 to show up Monday and start some detecting on my property. House was built in 1838 and has never been searched. I am excited to get disappointed... LOL. I will also will be going down to the Fingerlakes for some MD'ing.
