Hello!

My husband and I got into prospecting this spring and are addicted. I grew up in gold country and was the kid that got into trouble for doing things like taking a hammer to my grandmother's quartz flower bed borders looking for crystals and gold. :laughing7:
I've wanted to get into metal detecting since about that time too, but haven't done it yet. Right now all I have are pans and accessories, but am drooling over a Bazooka Gold Trap and a Garrett or Whites. Looking for education, tips and wisdom and really enjoying the atmosphere here.

Welcome to Tnet from SoCal. I am partial to the Whites GMT. That was my go to machine when I was nugget shooting, definitely worth a look.

That's a beaut! Ouch for $800 I better find me some nuggets so I can afford one! :camera: Better book some more shoots to support my gold addiction.... or find more gold to support my photography addiction. LOL.

Wel-come to the club ... :occasion14:

Hello and welcome.

Welcome Aboard! Take a look at Sub-Forums: California for information (i.e., clubs, etc.) directly related to your state.

Thanks everyone for the warm welcome!

We started gold panning this late spring. This is our catch thus far. Not much, but we only have pans right now.
