Relic Hunting
Hi,
I'm new to this forum, but I've had a Tesoro Vaquero for almost 6 years. I never used it that much, but I've got the bug again. I retired from law enforcement and lived in Florida all my life. Five years ago, I moved to TN and love it here. Now that I have met a lot of nice people here in my area I have plenty of places to relic hunt. Yesterday, I dusted off my Vaquero, put a battery in it , did a GB and I'm ready to get started. I have to say, I'm thinking about another detector also. One with an ID screen.
Any feed back on another good detector would be appreciated. My thoughts are on a Minelab Explorer SE, F70 or the AT Pro. I like the idea of using the AT Pro for creek hunting, but no deeper than knee high.
Thank you for letting me join in and please....any thoughts for a detector would be appreciated.
Thanks, David

You might consider browsing Sub-Forums: Tennessee for information (i.e., clubs, hunts, finds, legends, maps, etc.) directly related to your state.
Whatever MD you finally decide on - please consider buying one from one of

Hello and welcome.

Welcome from Louisiana.............

Welcome! Those are all good choices! They will all work in the creek, but unless you have the AT Pro, don't trip ;-)

Hi,
I have been looking at your website and I'm very impressed. I have also been reading every review I can find and watching youtube video's too. One minute I think I have found the detector I want , then change my mind to something else. There are a lot of nice detectors and it makes the choice a little difficult. If it was only possible to hold them in hand and give them a workout.
Thank you and everyone for your welcomes. I appreciate any input or advise on a great relic/coin detector.
Thanks, David
