Newbie from Quebec Canada

Hi!
I'm new to the hobby and this is my first post on this forum.I had the winning bid on a used detector on Ebay and i used it for the second time today on the shores of the St-Lawrence river when i got lucky.
I found a 1834 Capped Bust Silver Half Dollar. I am very pleased. It is my first interesting find and i am looking foward to more exiting treasures.
