Hi everyone i am new at this i have just purchased a bounty hunter discovery 3300 and can use any help i can get. I have fly fished for years and always came to old ruins thru my trips along the creeks this year i thought i would check them out wish me luck

My advice is don't let the trash discourage you! stick with it. If there's lots of trash sometimes that means it hasn't been detected or that other detectorists left in disgust! It usually takes years of research and networking to locate honey holes like you see on the youtube vids.
