Hello everyone! I'm new to -- well, basically everything here. I've been reading with great interest the stories that have been published online at the Lost Treasure and Legends of America websites. I've always been fascinated by stories of miners and prospectors, and what they went through to get their gold. What really gets my blood flowing is the tales of cached treasure and the "would could be there" thoughts. 
Anyway, I also just wanted to say that in reading some of the posts here it seems like this is a good bunch of people. I'm anxious to get to know all of you here!
I have a really old detector (birthday present when I was still a teenager...
) Anyone have any ideas for what would be a good buy for a new one?
