Hi all.
A couple of years back I bought a piece of property by a river in Granite Falls Washington USA. Walking down by the river and looking at the rocks and pebbles one sunny morning I noticed that the sand was black in many areas. Couldn't resist I went to the local hardware store and bought a pan. After about an hour of experimenting and picking out sparkly bits with tweezers I'm hooked. Collected it in a small mint tin. My wife promptly decided to through out the 'EMPTY' tin............. Saved it from the garbage and wrote on it GOLD..DO NOT THROW AWAY So now I'm hooked, watching videos and trying not to make the suppliers of prospecting equipment the rich ones.
