Newbie from central Illinois

Hey all,
I just wanted to say hi. I have always wanted to get into this hobby and never have for one reason or another, but I am at the point of jumping in and just doing some personal research on which MD to get. Trying to figure out what detectors are good and what the differences are in the various models. Thanks for a great source of info.
