You can make one from the trunk springs from old cars,but check out some of the bottle digging sites were they sell probes.

try a plumbing supply store they sell really nice probes that plumbers use to locate water lines.

thanks guys and gals for the ideas,i'll check them all out...I seen this stuff on the TRAVEL CH.(best places to find cash and treasure,or something like that)i've always been a arrowhead hunter and any kind of cool looking rock or bottle picker upper kinda person...thanks for the ideas folks,i'll put them all to use till i find what i'm looking for....happy hunting!!
