Greetings all :hello:!

Long time lurker, first time poster. I'm new to the hobby but fascinated by it and all the awesome finds posted on this forum. I'm currently located in Pewaukee, WI and anxious to get out hunting. About to pull the trigger on a Tesoro Compadre as I like the simplicity of it and think it would be a great newbie detector.

See ya around!

hi friends new to here and feeling nice to join the forum..

Finally pulled the trigger yesterday on an 8" Compadre and a Vulcan 360 pinpointer.....now just waiting anxiously...

Finally got my order and had a chance to try it out. I hit up the beach (fresh water) at my parent's house and was able to find a few things. My dad has already hit this spot with his bounty hunter quick draw 2 so I wasn't expecting much. I only had a short time to detect but I found one penny (1995 - lol), an old pull tab, a piece of wire, a pellet and a few other rusted iron pieces. I was really amazed by the depth of the compadre. I'm fairly certain I was hitting stuff deeper than the BH since my dad also digs everything. So now I'm addicted. Waiting for my coil cover to arrive and then I'll be out at it again. Also the Vulcan pinpointer worked great!
