ALL black? That must be assault gold mining equipment. Probably should ban all that...

Specially since the sluice has a high cap gold trap. Lol

Just curious, is that Iowa Hill in the last pic? - never made it that far - looks like my kind of place!

419GAM,
That looks like a mighty sweet package and the combo should make for a lot of fun adventures. My good ole 92 Bronco has a 'few' scratches in the paint from driving on some partially overgrown roads but then that is one of the reasons I have a 92 4x4 Bronco. I look forward to your posts about using the new BGT sluice....................63bkpkr

Fullpan: indeed it is! No electricity in town as it is off the grid. Evrrybody has generators.

63: you and I both, brother!

What an amazing fortune, love it!

Its official. I love the bgt! Worked about 20 buckets in 4 hours, about a third faster over my a51 with half inch classification. Out at ponderosa from 1 to 5. Cant believe how much material got moved from the flood!

That's what we've been trying to tell everybody since this time last year. I'm glad the BGT is working for everybody.

:icon_thumright: Good equipment all around and nice gold. Looks like a good time was had by all. Still have to get a prospecting vehicle as my car is just not meant for all the punishment I put it through, although it has taken all of it and never let me down. Even had people tell me they where going to have to tow me out with their Jeep Cherokees and how did you get that car down here..lol I am thinking something old and short wheel based and maybe flat black, don't want to worry about scratching the clear coat anymore. That bazooka will pay for itself in the back pain you will be avoiding from not having to classify for certain, good gold to ya!! :headbang:

Gravel: hear you there brother! I hate the bucket shake almost as much as I hate $10 parking fees...actually didn't take the truck, wife wanted it to take the kids for a drive.

Outside edge of a bend, honestly gold is pretty consistent at ponderosa, so I walkrd till I found a good spot for the sluice and worked there. I love the texture of the slick plate, I was having to fan flakes to get them to drop into the trap, even though soft ball sized rocks were being pushed up the grizzly wires.

guess what everyone i got my truck yesterday im so happy

Dirty is good, shows you are gettin' out there!

I guess the title says it all... itching to go dig! Took the truck to Iowa Hill via yankee Jim's and it did very well. Had the kids with me so no river time.

Good Times Glad to see you doining well.. look forward to the next time we cross paths.
