One of my favorite areas of the site is the What Is It? 🕵️ section. Lot's of neat things pop up there. The community is such a big help identifying things for people. We wanted to make that a bit easier and more informative. So, we've implemented a system where members can upvote answers. If the thread starter finds a solution in identifying the object they can mark the post as the Solution. By doing that it puts the solution right below the original question. The original thread starter can also change the thread prefix to "☑️ SOLVED". Then you can even tell at a glance which threads have been solved on the Thread View page.
