Those are bones on either side of the arrow heads, right? What did they bring down, a buffalo? Looks huge.
 

Nice finds Steve. Do you have any idea what animal the bones/fossils are from? My daughter and I were looking for points last fall and found a strange looking rock. Turned out to be a wooly mammoth tooth. I/we have been hooked ever since. Is there anyway you can get close ups of the point for us?

mammoth bones but the point were just found on the same shore line

yes bones came from a colombian mammoth they were hairless most of them down here were.

GREAT DIGS STEVE,
THEY DISCOVERED A REALLY BIG MAMMOTH SITE DOWN HERE JUST SOUTH OF HOUSTON IN LAKE JACKSON A FEW YEARS BACK, AT A LAKE I USED TO HOP THE FENCE AND FISH AT BACK WHEN I WAS AROUND 12.
REALLY LIKE THE PIX.
