Welcome VADIGGIN! How long have you had the TDI and what do you think of it? Could be an interesting machine in VA.............63bkpkr

I've had it about two years now and it's great for mineralized soil and super deep relics, especially buttons. Only bad thing is that bullets and nails sound very similar. What I usually do is locate hot spots with the MXT then come back with the TDI to find the super deep targets.

Welcome to t-net! :hello: Looking forward to pics of your future finds from the BEAUTIFUL Shenandoah Valley of Virginia! I was born in Roanoke, grew up in rural Henrico County near Richmond and, much later, lived 20 years in hilly Charlottesville. Used to love hiking solo, with my kids and with the Appalachian Trail group in those dear old mountains and lovely valleys! I wasn't into metal detecting then but am always fascinated to see and read about what you Virginians are discovering! And next time my son and I visit daughter & grandkids in Charlottesville, we're gonna detect around there. Have fun! Andi
