Thought Id introduce myself to everybody on TreasureNet. I am 52 years old and have been interested in metal detecting since I was a kid. Just never have jumped in and bought a good detector. I have a cheep Radio Shack detector I bought years ago to help find aluminum arrows that missed the target and buried them selves under the grass. Its time to get a good one!

I have been watching a bunch of videos on You Tube and have really got bitten by the bug. I have narrowed it down between the Garrett AT Pro or the AT Gold. I am leaning towards the Gold. I have watched all of Aquachigger’s videos and am learning a lot. I get a lot out of how he explains the signal and what he finds. There are a bunch of others I have subbed to and watch.

I have started a new You Tube channel to show my progression into metal detecting and relic hunting. I hope by spring I will be able to make some detecting videos. I do have some gold panning videos I want to make too.

Hope you can check out my you tube channel and we will see where it goes.
Thanks

welcome I like the at pro its very user friendly and easy to learn

Welcome to Treasurenet! Great idea on the time capsules! The At Pro and At Gold are great units - easy to use and lots of features. The Pro is good if you plan to hunt salt water and land, the Gold is good for freshwater and land. The gold will find silver, but is more sensitive to small gold.
