Some of you may know me already from Arrowheads.com. If not, I will start by saying my name is Wildman, I'm 30 years old from Harlan, KY. I've been treasure hunting since I can remember with my first interest being fossils, then to Indian artifacts, and for the past 6 months or so, metal detecting. Over 1000 fossils, countless artifacts, and the number of finds with the detector is gaining rapidly. To date, I have 1 silver/diamond engagement band, 2 silver rings, 1 silver chain/1oz, about 10 silver coins, tons of wheats, and 1 Indian head @ 1902 being the oldest. I search old home sites mostly and have acquired oxen shoes, axe heads, a three widows condom tin, an antique flower frog bade of steel, dog tax tags from as far back as the '20's and lots of other treasures. I am currently searching for a campground from the 1st Harlan Battalion, 1860's, comprised of companies A-F, totaling app. 360 men. I've narrowed that search down to about a 10 mile stretch of the Poor Fork River.
