Welcome to T-Net!! Haven't posted in a while myself, but, nice to see a fellow TX rock hound. I live in Houston and hunt around the Brazos. Hope to see more of those great points.....

Welcome to the Forum  The tang is excellent and looks like a 5 incher at least. Very nice. John

Thanks for the great welcome everybody. I have hundreds of pics of points that I have found either surface, hand, or sifter hunting. Here is a few that I found last year. Just for kicks, who can tell me what the far one in the bottom left is.

Nice artifacts you found there and welcome to T net from a fellow Texas Digger. I'd have to be inclined to call that point you refer to as a Nolan, but I live in far N.E. Texas and we find more "woodland" type culture artifacts out here.

Welcome to T net and great find!! My dad just bought 10 acres in Texas and I am waiting to get out there and check it out.

some more texas stuff

To me it could be a Cumberland if it has the single sided center notch definitely. But it also looks like an Orient Fishtail. I have seen several "fishtails" in Pennsylvania.
