Long time reader and enthusiast, first time posting. 4 months into the hobby with both a Garrett AT Pro and a Whites Dual Surf PI and what an enjoyable hobby. I don't think I've gone longer than 30 hours since I got my first detector without being at the beach or at a site I researched.
Finds thus far:
-19?? Walking Liberty (Can't make out the date)
-7 rings, mostly Sterling. Promise ring, Wedding ring (male), and a victorian style band.
-Pull Tabs, Tent Stakes and tons of modern coins.
If anyone is in the Virginia Beach area and ever wants to do either a beach comb (dry sand, low tide, or Bay) let me know. Also, I have been researching a lot of historic sites and would love to head North for some relic-hunting.
