Hello everyone. I have been following this site and its threads for almost 2 years now and finally decided to join so I can ask for your help. I purchased my first detector (AT-PRO) at the end of last "season" and was not able to get out much or with any success. About 2 weeks ago, I was able to get out for a long hunt at a public park in Lexington, KY and found what I believe to be a piano sconce. I believe it is made of bronze or brass as it is non-magnetic and extremely heavy. It is 5 3/4" long, 3 1/2" tall and 1/2" wide at its widest. It has one hole out the front of the large end and 2 holes on the top and bottom of the small end. All three are threaded but aside from a small void space within them, I don't believe it is hollow. It also has one small, non-threaded hole in the end of one of the scrolls (for lack of a better word). I have not located any markings on it and I am fairly certain it is poured. Any help or advice on where to search for information is greatly appreciated. I will take more pictures of detailed areas if they will in anyway help. Thank you.
Well, after looking at it again, it does have a hollow channel through its widest scroll that goes from one end to the other....guessing that was for electric and that it is not poured as originally suspected. Oops.
