Just wanted to say hello to everyone. This is a great site! You could say I have been a closet MD for some time just reading posts and learning whats going on.

When I was a kid my grandfather had a old MD from the 60's I would go out and hunt for that treasure chest every day. I never did find that treasure and it is hard to tell what I threw away but when your 6 you can only think about pirates treasure.

Hi, welcome to the forum

Welcome aboard Beef,

Glad to have you with us. We look forward to pics of your finds.

Beef52, welcome to the T-Net family! Looking forward to seeing and hearing about your finds. Good Luck!

Welcome to the hobby and the forum! I used to live near Piney Flats (Johnson City), very beautiful countryside down around the lake. We transferred to Kentucky last year, I've hunted many of the parks around Piney Flats and nearly all the schools. Wing Deer Park most always gave up a piece of silver or some jewelry - if the water is down, you should try some of the old swimming holes and beaches around the waters edge!

Good Luck and Happy Hunting / Night Stalker

Welcome! Yep you found a great place to hang out! I know what you mean about looking for that treasure, but remember everytime you find something of any value, you're finding part of that treasure. Put your finds in a small box or chest and eventually you'll have a treasure chest of your own.
