New to Metal Detecting

Finally got a metal detector at the urging of my 5 year old twins. Happy Father's Day! - Garrett Ace 250. So far we dug up the backyard and got an old rusty nail (from an "old cowboy fort" - obviously) and a rusty old bolt (from the top of a helicopter). Oh and a piece of flat metal (same material that the Diggers guy found while looking for Billy the Kid's pocket knife). My boys have awesome imaginations! Anyway - even though it's just been old rusty stuff, it's really exciting when you start digging and find something!
