Discovered a park today that promises many happy hours of hunting. A couple of hours today yielded a '46 Roosie, a '45 Washington quarter, an IHC I can't read the date on, some filigreed sterling that I suspect was on an old change purse or something, and some other piece of old jewelry.

Thanks for looking!

From a distance (several hundred miles) The Indian Head Cent might be 1891. The site might be worth going back to someday.
Good Luck!

Looks like you got a virgin park to hunt....
You need to beat that turf till it bleeds.

Nice digs!....the rest of that purse piece might have been strewn about by a lawn mower back in the day....keep looking! And good luck!

I like new to me parks.. Something diff is always good. Congrats

Nice finds- looks like a great site! Hopefully you can locate the other half of that purse, with many goodies waiting for you!
