Hi there, have been detecting for quite some time and am interested in the Equinox 800. Tell me the pros and cons of hunting in the florida sands and ocean. I mainly wanted a Sovereign GT but understand they are not made any more. Did the equinox 800 take its place? Does the equinox go as deep as the sovereign. And which earphones would you suggest getting that would be waterproof. Also Would the SEF butterfly coil that is used on the sovereign, can that also be used on the equinox 800? Thank you for any help.
