New to forum

Hi I just purchased my first detector which is a White's MXT All-Pro. I've always wanted to get into detecting as my father and my uncle always enjoyed going and I got to tag along a fee times. Now that I have my own I can go along with them and hopefully get some good finds for myself. I want to thank everyone for their informative posts on this site as this site was my main source of information as to what I should get and where I should get it. I can't wait to get out there and start finding treasure!

Welcome to the metal detecting hobby... Let me tell you that you just purchased my all time favorite metal detector. Don't let anyone tell you there is something better out there, don't ever feel that the mxt is not doing the job.. If you can't find it it's because it's not there... Hope you enjoy this amazing hobby...

Thanks, I'm very happy with my purchase and I just keep getting more excited about getting out to use it every time I read the excellent reviews on this detector. I just wish the weather would get nicer. Hopefully it wont be long
