I have used rods to find water lines, sewer lines, and electrical line, and such. I was looking in a spot believed to have some treasure from the signs, and location a good friend has found. In one spot the rods crossed, and after a couple of more steps forward the rod in my right hand just started spinning. The rod in my left hand spun a couple of times, but the one in my right hand just kept spinng for a few seconds. The one in my right hand was scratched with silver, and the one in the left hand was scratched with gold. Any ideas on what the spinning indicates? I have never seen them do this before? Thanks for any info on this as I am rather new to the rods, and know very little about them, but HOPING to learn, and find!

I have had something similar happen. One rod starts to move off to the side while the other spins around once until pointing in the same direction. It means treasure is off to your side, look where the rods point to.

When the first rod starts to move, look at it...otherwise it may spin around until looking to see where it will point. As the other rod begins to move, watch that one also. If a treasure is there, both rods will stay pointing toward the treasure.

Thanks Red_desert, appreciate all the help. I have detected fro a while, and as I said have used rods for many things made from coat hangers. I have bought some 3/16's brass rods to make a good set from, but just waiting for a good plan to come into my head to make them from. I am also looking on here for ideas too. Again, thanks for all your help.
