I explored a new local spot today--an old schoolhouse built in the early 1900's. I only had an hour to dig so I dug in a baseball field next to the schoolhouse. My findings are in the attached photo. I will be going back soon when I have more time to dig the around the schoolhouse. To be continued....I found the ring but after I cleaned it up there were no markings on it. So I had the ring tested today and it came up to be junk. Sorry I don't like to post any junk...................... I'll be more careful.
