New spot turns up SILVER and a "Sweet" button!

Tonight after work, I tried a new spot I've been wanting to hit for about an hour. There used to be an old farm house on this property, but it was torn down years ago. The only thing left is a barn, some outbuildings, and some large old oaks. Within 5 minutes (my second target), I dug up a 1949 silver dime! I couldn't believe my eyes. I'm hoping this spot turns up some more older coins. I also found some other pennies and dimes, but they were from the 80's.
My other finds were:
*A "SWEET ORR" button. No idea what kind of button this is?
* A piece that looks like a pigs head, with a clip on the back.
Any ideas what this is?
*An old decorative metal band. Watch band?
* A red thingy. No idea what this is either?
*A few odds and ends.
Nothing amazing, but I think I just scratched the surface today.

wow looks like a great spot...Congrats....The button and the piggy are great. I can not wait til tomorrow so i can get out...I swear reading these posts drives me insane...I am going to buy night vision goggles and go crazy!!!

You know if the old orrs in the barn are finders keepers they would make great decor. I have painted on orrs and sold to the beach tourist > they look great just varnished and placed in the corner of a room

OK. Wild guess on your "pig"

On the back, the two "arms" have holes above the center - a small coil spring once connected them. Pulling down the center piece, a cam, would spread them. On top, they are shaped like two hooked latches facing each other. When the "nose" is pulled down, they spread, releasing the (missing) piece that latched onto that end.

Looks like a book clasp or from a Bible or diary to me, or some similar type of catch.

Nice finds! I think your "red thingy" is a top roller wheel for a closet door, for like a
bedroom closet with side by side doors.

Sweet finds, the red thing looks like it might be off of a sewing machine, like a bobbin, just my guess. Neat site. like the dime, always like silver.

Slabman is right. It's the roller off a sliding, or bypass, door.
