Great finds in a great little town! I almost bought one of the war-era rowhouses in central Gettysburg back in 2019, but then the "health event" happened and it fell through. I read the house had changed hands between Confederate and Union soldiers dozens of times over the course of the battle. My first act of buying that house would have been to do an entire archeological survey of the property - back yard, basement, walls, everything. I know of many houses where people have found bullets and artillery shells still embedded in their structures, some even finding whole guns and ammunition hidden in walls and under floor boards all in pristine condition as if they had just been placed there yesterday. Great finds! That town still has alot to give. Only problem is all the hacks and charlatans moving there lately. Ghost tours - oh please.
