New site gives up some silver

Today I met up with Twistidd, TreasureFiend, DP Bob, Mikewaz, Bilt46 and his brother at some new (old) woods.
It was super trashy. . . mostly foil. . . but there were a few folks who did pull out some nice coinage (me not included).

However, I was happy with the silver ring and the back of a button that was marked Sterling. . .

I would also like to thank another MD'er we met this afternoon for giving us
a nice overview of the area we hunted for the first time. . . thanks Rich

It was good to get a hunt in with the guys yesterday. I was envious when I saw you dig that ring, I've got to admit. I wonder how old it is? It appears to be hand-crafted, but then it looked machined on the inside. But I know jack when it comes to making and dating jewelry (unless it's like Kermit's bracelet, with the date right on it!)

I'm really looking forward to next week and hope we can get to "that" area when Neil returns!
